About J & R Pro Automotive

Located at 308 Hyers St, Toms River, NJ 08753, J & R Pro Automotive operates as an auto repair shop serving Toms River in New Jersey. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Toms River, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New Jersey vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach J & R Pro Automotive at (732) 244-6363; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 98 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Toms River and suggests consistent service.

Toms River is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Toms River follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Amazing family owned shop with the nicest, most honest owners you'll ever meet. Could not recommend them enough. If you want your work done right at a fair price, bring it to pro auto!

This place is great. My car has been driving so much smoother after having my lower control arm replaced and wheel alignment. They also fixed my car same day in about 2 hrs. Nice people as well.

First time customer. I found the shop from my good friend who I trust for these such references. My experience was excellent. I do all my own repairs on my 2006 Nissan Frontier but not able to service the A/C. I have a business background in the trucking industry with countless shops experienced. Now that I'm retired and intend to keep my little pick-up, finding J&R is a big resource for me for those jobs I can't do myself. I recommend J&R and thank my good friend Dave for his recommendation. Thank you J&R.

Brought my car in for breaks. John got me in right away and had it done before the end of the day. They were very thorough and are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend for any auto repairs. A true honest family owned business.

Small family run business that is absolutely amazing. John and the rest of his family and crew are all incredibly nice and very informative. Been brining my cars to him for 2 decades now and have never had a single issue. As far as pricing goes there is not a more honest mechanic anywhere on earth. Would definitely recommend to anyone is need of a top notch auto mechanic.
